If you know the chihuahua breed, you know that they are both timid and aggressive, loyal and crazy, motivated by car rides and French fries and Chico is no exception! He’s a scared little guy as his mom went into a nursing home and his little world fell apart. But, after just a few days, he’s already showing his fun and snuggly side. He’s more timid of males than females but is adjusting. Chihuahua’s require special understanding and patience. Their size is deceiving because they think they are a big dog. They cower and shake for no reason at all. But, if you’re ok with putting in the effort to win his trust, you and Chico will have an unbreakable bond. He’ll be your best friend, shadow and official food taster. What else could you want?

Chico is available for adoption now. Applications can be found on our website here.
