Maggie is a very special, senior yorkie who is ready and deserving of the good life for her golden years. Maggie has a huge heart and loves nothing more than to be loved and cuddled! She is very affectionate and tuned into her people! Despite her age, she still has lots of spunk left and will play and chase toys or your hand! Maggie spent many years in less than ideal conditions. As such, she had to have all her teeth removed and she has very little vision left (almost fully blind). She is also not potty trained, and it is unlikely she will pick up this skill. She uses pee pads for her business when she is in her “playpen area” and a diaper when she explores the house. She has not spent much time outside in her life until now, and she really enjoys the sun on her face and the smells of the world! Maggie is a lover and would do well in a variety of homes including those with kids or cats. She likes dogs, but she will resources guard her toys and food (and even her humans) from other dogs. Her resource guarding is very fisty but does not bother her current foster sibling (large dog) due to her tiny size and toothlessness. However, it may bother other dogs more.
Maggie has lots of life left in her little body, and is deserving of very loving care for her senior years. Her ideal home would be with someone who wants a cuddle buddy to spoil and doesn’t mind doing a little extra clean up after her potty pads or diapers.
