Rue is a young, energetic girl who is excited to live life to its fullest! She was found as a stray, so her history is unknown but we know her future is bright with the right loving family. Rue loves playing with other dogs, visiting the dog park, and playing with toys (especially tennis balls).

She is working very hard on her kennel training, she expects a treat when she goes in and is learning to keep quiet when it’s time to rest in her kennel, putting a blanket in her kennel with a toy and a blanket over the kennel really helps. Rue whines for a couple minutes before settling into her kennel, but once she’s settled she’s as quiet as a mouse. Her forever home will have to continue showing her that the kennel is a safe space for her. 💛

Rue is at the perfect age to be adopted, she knows her basic commands, sit, lay down and shake a paw, and is house trained but she’s excited to learn new things. She’s currently learning to ring a bell when she needs outside, roll over, stay, leash manners and taking our time going up and down stairs so we don’t slip. 😂

Rue’s Quirks:

-Rue loves having a blanket in her kennel, but she likes it removed when she eats otherwise she covers her food with the blankets.

-Rue gets so excited when her foster family comes home, she grabs the first thing she can find and carries it around.

-Rue loves her toys so much, when she lays on the floor playing, she always gets up, and carries her toy to each person to show it off.

We know that this loving girl has the perfect family out there, they just haven’t met her yet.
