Pepper is a handsome 1-year-old pup with the sweetest smile and a goofy, adventurous personality. In the last few months, Pepper has absolutely blossomed into a happy, playful, affectionate young dog.

When Pepper first arrived, he was nervous and unsure of the world around him. Now he happily approaches people and dogs with a wagging tail and excitement for life. Watching his confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding.

Pepper LOVES being active and involved in whatever his people are doing. He enjoys long walks, running beside bikes, dog park adventures, chasing bunnies in the yard, carrying bones around proudly, and zooming around the house with his playful puppy energy.

Pepper is smart, food motivated, and eager to learn. He picks up new tricks quickly and enjoys engaging with his people. He already has good recall and continues to gain confidence with consistency and structure.

Pepper is house trained and doing well settling into home life and routine. He is still working on feeling comfortable being left alone and would do best with a patient home that can continue helping him build confidence and independence over time.

Pepper would thrive in an active home that wants a dog to truly include in everyday adventures. He would make an amazing companion for walks, hikes, camping trips, bike rides, and outdoor exploring.
