Good with Kids: Absolutely! I love kids, again I can be shy but I warm up very quick. I love giving them kisses.Hi Everyone!

My name is Nina and you guessed it, I’m looking for my furever home. Life hasn’t been the easiest for me, I was found as a skinny and hungry stray puppy with porcupine quills all over my face near North Battleford. I’m not sure how long the quills were in there before I was found but my face was pretty infected.. luckily some awesome people found me and took me to the vet. Then I found my foster family, it’s been a long road, but after almost 2 months with them I am feeling and looking so much better!
I’ve been on medication since I got here, and slowly but surely my infection and face is healing. Mom has been wiping my face to keep it clean and healthy and she’s even got some more quills out! The vet said this is something my future family will need to be aware of, I guess it’s super hard to find all of them so it may take time for them all to come out. I sit so pretty for mom when she’s cleaning my face, and then I get a buttload of treats! Since I was so skinny, I get lots of treats and food… my foster sisters get jealous. ☺️

I think I should also mention some things about myself:
1. I’m really good at sitting, laying down and shaking a paw.
2. I love eating snow!
3. I walk super great on a leash
4. I love to snuggle
5. I love playing outside!

My Christmas wish is that someone sees this post and thinks I could be a part of their family. I have so much love to give (along with cuddles and kisses), I know that I would be a great addition to any family. All I need is some patience, love and snuggles and I know I could be your best friend.

Nina is available for adoption January 2nd, but we are accepting applications now. Applications can be found on our website here.
