When will I hear back when I send in an adoption application?

We will contact the successful applicant within a week after the application has been submitted. We will not respond back to every applicant, so please watch out Facebook page for updates.

Do you have waiting lists for dogs in your care?

We don’t do waiting lists for adoptable dogs in our care. Once the dog/puppy is available for adoption, we post them to our website and Facebook page with a full bio and photo. If you see a dog that interests you, you may fill out an adoption application at that time.   

What is the best way to make a donation?

The dogs in our care rely on donated items to make their stay with PSDR more comfortable. Monetary donations can be made online, while we can arrange pick up or drop off of items to be donated by contacting us here or email us at [email protected]. Please see the...

What are your hours?

As we do not operate out of a physical shelter location, we do not have set hours. Our foster volunteers do their best to accommodate potential adoptive families in respect to arranging meeting times. You can always contact us through email.

Where is your shelter?

Can I get a tax receipt for donations?

Unfortunately, at this time we cannot provide tax receipts for donations; however, hopefully this will change in the near future.

What do our fees include?

All of our dogs are seen by a veterinarian, dewormed, provided age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, treated prophylactically for external parasites, spayed/neutered if older than 6 months, and given any other necessary medical care.  Our adoption fees help to cover...
