Hi guys, I'm Jovie but my foster Ma likes to call me Huricane Jojo because since my altercation with the spikey kitty (porcupine), I feel like I need to move extra fast to make up for lost time! My foster family has lots of rules about this whole four on floor thing and sitting at the door before I get to go outside so I'm trying to work really hard on containing myself. I'm a happy girl and just love to be in on the action. I get kind of sad when I have to relax in my kennel but I love food and treats so that makes all this learning stuff easier.

When I'm not on kennel rest from my recent surgeries I like to go for walks, play with squeaker toys, and wrestle with my furry foster brothers. Ma says I'm a little too pushy and abrasive with some dogs and they sometimes need more time to warm up to me. I mean well, I just forget that not everyone appreciates the force and speed of my friendship.

I do like wrestling with my friends but I do not appreciate sharing my stuff with them. I am slowly getting more relaxed about my eating habits now that I'm back up to a healthy weight. Ma feeds me in my kennel so I don’t feel threatened by my furry foster brothers. To keep the peace Ma hasn't asked me to share my toys yet... except when my pesky cat brother tries to play with them with me.

I would love to find myself a family to call my own. A family that's game for some adventures then to curl up on the couch to watch a movie while I chew a bone.

The ladies at Ma's work tell me that I may still have to have some visits to deal with remaining quill remnants but at this time they aren't bothering me!

Jovie is available for adoption January 16, 2020 but we are currently accepting applications now. Applications can be found here.
