Gwen And Her Unexpected Package!

We have a very exciting announcement!
Please meet our newest rescue dog, Gwen! She came into our care last night with a rather large tummy and after a trip to the vets, our suspicions were confirmed. Gwen is about 43 days pregnant with 4-5 puppies!!! We are so excited as this will be the first litter ever born into Prairie Sky Dog Rescue's care!
Gwen was found as a stray in a northern community and is thought to be a Great Pyrenees/husky mix. She is a medium size dog and is 55lbs with those pups but is also very underweight. She is a short but very stocky dog. Gwen is a very sweet girl who loves to smile and gets along great with other dogs. Stay tuned for more updates on this darling girl and in 2-3 weeks, her adorable babies!!!
